It’s the game of match two here with Classic Concentration! If you’re good at remembering the position of words, you can win a fabulous new car! Start off by choosing your character portrait and give yourself a name, then check out your opponent and it’s off to the board.

25 squares obscure a picture message. Solving this message is the goal of the round. If you’ve ever played a match game, you know how to play Classic Concentration. One square is given for free, then you choose a number. It’s a piano! And a mink coat. No match. Computer’s turn. No match. This continues until you find a match, I got a speed boat! Those squares disappear to show off some more of the puzzle underneath. You can take a guess or keep going until you miss.

Once you know what the puzzle is, you can give it a shot. I prefer to win as many prizes as possible before I figure it out. Once you can see all you need, you have to put it together fast to get the right answer. The Ear E Can Pick? That’s not right… Oh! The Erie Canal! You can be off a little bit on your spelling, lucky for me.

There are three rounds and the first to two wins heads off to the bonus round. Here, you can possibly win one of seven great new cars! Match them as quickly as you can, because you only have 35 seconds. The last match you make is the car you win. I got a new Laser. Then the computer steamrolled me, guessing things when there was not enough to guess properly. Cheating computer alert!

Graphics: 1.0

Everything looks lame and plain. At least the puzzles can be figured out from the pixel art.

Sound: 1.0

The music is lame and doesn’t sound good at all.

Gameplay: 1.0

Click a square and then click another square. Match? If yes, do it again. If no, it’s the computer’s turn.

Difficulty: 2.0

How’s your memory? If you give the computer a few chances, they’ll take over and guess without enough squares to see what it is.

Fun Factor: 1.0

It’s not really that great when you don’t actually win any prizes.

Overall Rating: 1.2

Classic Concentration earns a D+. Probably fun with another person, not great against the computer.
