Capital Pro Wrestling is back at the Fledge on June 22nd for another taping of the Great Lakes Professional Wrestling Showcase. The first half of the year wraps up and we’ve got a brand new Great Lakes Television Champion! Caleb Stills will be defending his newly won championship against a new challenger.
Stills wasn’t the only new champion crowned in May. “Mr. One Night Only” JP Ono put an end to Jason Blasen’s second Super Juniorweight Championship reign. But Blasen invoked his rematch clause and this will be taking place on June 22nd. You aren’t going to miss the fireworks on this one!
Jeff Brooks and his crew cheated Anderson Knight out of a victory, but he’ll have an opportunity to square things up as Anderson Knight teams up with Road Rash once again. The Nomads will square up against Brooks Holdings Unlimited’s Donte Casson and Mondo Real.
“The Wildcard” Ace Valeska made his professional debut against Conrad “The Influence” Loucks and came up short. Now he’s being thrown into the lion’s den as he goes one on one with “The Star of Destiny” Georg Mack. This is the biggest challenge of the young Valeska’s career. Will he be able to continue on?
Speaking of Conrad Loucks, he will also be in action. His opponent? “The Redneck Rockstar” Billy Ray Daniels. These are two men on an upward trajectory in Capital Pro Wrestling and a victory here will put them in the running for a shot at the Great Lakes Television Championship. Who will walk away the victor?
Big Bufford was attacked by WAR Inc. after coming up on the losing end against Billy Ray Daniels. Now, he has enlisted the aid of 24K. Together, they will battle the Modern Day Shaman and Kipp Rude. Both teams have something to prove and this will be one way to move up the ladder.
The Great Lakes Tag Team Titles won’t be on the line, but Big Jorge will be in singles action against the leader of the Outcast Core, Sean Tyler. Billy Ray Daniels cost Sean Tyler his shot at the tag titles last month and he wants to show that he can beat the Circle of Dust. The winner here will definitely be looked at as a next contender for the Great Lakes Television Championship.
