Fisher-Price: I Can Remember
System: NES
Release Date: March 1990
Developer: Beam Software
Publisher: GameTek
Genre: Edutainment
Our second edutainment game released in March 1990 is Fisher-Price: I Can Remember. Here we have a game of memory tasking you with matching Fisher-Price toys and uncovering a picture of a big Fisher-Price toy. Memory… something I’ve lost due to the heavy drinking.
There are three levels of play which you can do alone, against a friend, or a computer opponent. The first level has you matching 12 cards. The second level has you matching 16 cards. The third level has you matching 20 cards. You play three rounds in a game with points being awarded for each match. The first match is worth the most points, while the final match is worth the least. The computer beat me one round.
